Picture Jasper is a type of “imperfect Quartz.” Bands of microscopic Quartz crystals compact together tightly to create unique bands of colour. Interwoven lines of silica or petrified mud add further detail. Meanwhile, trace elements provide plenty of colour variety. Hues of brown and tan are the most dominant. However, you can also find swirls of pink, red, cream, blue, and more.
