Care has been taken to ensure that weights and measurements are as accurate as possible, however please do note that these are only approximate.
These specimens are untreated and in their natural raw form and shedding of small crystals is normal. Natural inclusions, cracks and pockets are all visible and all part of the natural stone. Please handle with extra care.
These Opals can be used for jewellery making and cutting, however, we cannot guarantee there are no natural internals cracks that could cause damage to the stone during the cutting process.
Hydrophane Opals are a white, opaque, highly porous form of Opal, that has the ability to absorb water. This causes the stone to become transparent and almost invisible while in the water. Once it dries out the stone will return back to its opaque state.
Not suitable for children under 6 years of age
