Danburite is a calcium boron silicate mineral that forms in small prismatic crystals which is also similar to Topaz. The colour can range from white to light yellow, and also a pale shade of brown. Top quality Danburite is colourless and usually transparent. It can sometimes be found with a druzy coating of Quartz over it. Some specimens can be found to have speckles of Pyrite inclusions or even UV reactive Calcite and Sphalerite. Danburite is one of the Synergy 12 stones and It is known for its high vibration that made aid contact with spirit guides.
Danburite was first discovered in 1839 by a man called Charles Shepard, and named after the location it was found in, Danbury, Connecticut. This find was never officially documented and became lost in time.
Since then, Danburite has been found in Russia, Mexico, Bolivia, Myanmar, Japan and Madagascar.
