These sticks are made from white fibrous Satin Spar which is a variety of Gypsum. The stone is often called Selenite, although the two are closely related (they are both forms of Gypsum), Selenite actually grows in large clear crystal forms. Satin Spar is a very delicate stone and can easily scratch and mark and should be handled with care.

These are carved from natural stone so they are not a perfect shape and flawless. These are raw and will have loose shards or crystal.
